Your practice, in words

This 5-minute everyday session uses the following original prompts, spaced through the timer. Allow quiet time between them. You can read the whole practice first, follow the on-screen cues, or turn on browser narration.

  1. Settle into a comfortable position. Let your shoulders soften.
  2. Notice the natural movement of one breath. You do not need to change it.
  3. When a thought arrives, gently name it “thinking” and return.
  4. Feel your feet and hands. Let the next breath arrive on its own.
  5. Look around slowly. Choose one small thing to do next.

Make it comfortable

Choose a safe place where you can pause. Keep your eyes open if preferred. Nothing needs to be forced: change position, skip an instruction or end early. If focusing inward feels unhelpful, orient to the room and ordinary sounds instead.

What to expect

Make a little room in a crowded day. There is no required feeling at the end. Attention can wander, and a session can still be worthwhile. This practice is not a treatment or an assessment.

Is this a recorded guided meditation?

No. It is an original written session with timed cues and optional browser-generated speech. It is not a recording of a teacher or instructor. You can practice silently or use the original synthesized soundscape.

Can I change the duration?

Yes. Before starting, choose a different duration. Prompts are spaced across your chosen time. Pause and reset controls are always available.
