Your practice, in words

This 5-minute focus session uses the following original prompts, spaced through the timer. Allow quiet time between them. You can read the whole practice first, follow the on-screen cues, or turn on browser narration.

  1. Choose one task to return to after this pause.
  2. Let the eyes rest. Notice the next natural breath.
  3. When attention moves, return gently. Returning is the practice.
  4. Imagine the first small step of your task.
  5. Open your eyes and make a little space to begin.

Make it comfortable

Choose a safe place where you can pause. Keep your eyes open if preferred. Nothing needs to be forced: change position, skip an instruction or end early. If focusing inward feels unhelpful, orient to the room and ordinary sounds instead.

What to expect

Settle your attention before a focused task. There is no required feeling at the end. Attention can wander, and a session can still be worthwhile. This practice is not a treatment or an assessment.

Is this a recorded guided meditation?

No. It is an original written session with timed cues and optional browser-generated speech. It is not a recording of a teacher or instructor. You can practice silently or use the original synthesized soundscape.

Can I change the duration?

Yes. Before starting, choose a different duration. Prompts are spaced across your chosen time. Pause and reset controls are always available.
