Your practice, in words

This 12-minute sleep session uses the following original prompts, spaced through the timer. Allow quiet time between them. You can read the whole practice first, follow the on-screen cues, or turn on browser narration.

  1. Find a supported position. Let your eyes stay open or close if comfortable.
  2. Notice the weight of your body. You do not need to make it heavier.
  3. Follow the rise and fall of breathing without changing its pace.
  4. If your mind stays active, rest can still be worthwhile.
  5. Let the last part of the session be unstructured and quiet.

Make it comfortable

Choose a safe place where you can pause. Keep your eyes open if preferred. Nothing needs to be forced: change position, skip an instruction or end early. If focusing inward feels unhelpful, orient to the room and ordinary sounds instead.

What to expect

Make space for rest without requiring a result. There is no required feeling at the end. Attention can wander, and a session can still be worthwhile. This practice is not a treatment or an assessment.

Is this a recorded guided meditation?

No. It is an original written session with timed cues and optional browser-generated speech. It is not a recording of a teacher or instructor. You can practice silently or use the original synthesized soundscape.

Can I change the duration?

Yes. Before starting, choose a different duration. Prompts are spaced across your chosen time. Pause and reset controls are always available.
